welcome to Barfield Tiger Pride weekly announcement good morning Barfield Tigers I would like to start off our announcement with the huge shout out to Miss piccirillo and her sixth grade team last week they attended the district's Sarah Ross Math and Science Invitational they competed against 13 other schools on one second please woohoo congratulations to Christopher Garcia Carlos Gonzalez Adrian Hernandez and Luigi Lopez well done way to represent Barfield we are so proud of you tigers this is our last week that our students from kindergarten to 5th grade will be taking the district Benchmark assessment please make sure to get plenty of rest and don't forget to have some breakfast to help get your day started on Wednesday March 10th those students who were chosen for student of the month or most improved for month of February will be recognized at our student recognition assembly at 2 p.m. don't forget to attend your class every single day and on time have an awesome week tigers it's time to recognize our tigers for their awesome accomplishments Tigers just a reminder to follow your paws expectations everyday remember to problem-solve is make good decisions work together and show respect here is a tiger tip of the week from mrs. Madrid play Party of hikers misses Madrid hear this tiger tip is about handling worries and showing compassion the quote is be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next but know that whatever it is you will be okay this week I feel lessons focus on Hanley worries and showing compassion sometimes we worry we don't know what to expect or when things are out of our control those around us might be worried and showing them compassion can be a way to show that care check out my Google Classroom under this week activities to Sierra lessons or SEL lessons on handling worries and showing compassion check it out tigers and have a great week let's hear from one of hangers about College and Career Readiness class this week if you choose to work in this field you can have careers lawyer or firefighter you can also be a police officer or a paramedic check out Google Classroom under this week's activities to start interactive Google Slides about careers in Law Public Safety Corrections and security Tigers this week we have you love yourself time what is something you like to do when you need spring break Madrid or lunch by 8:15 have a great tiger
