Welcome to Barfield Tiger Pride Weekly Announcement. Good Morning Barfield Tigers! Welcome back to our Kinder and first grade students. We are so happy have you on our campus. Mrs. Vasquez and I have left you a little something on your desk. Take it home and enjoy. Students in second, third, fourth,  fifth, and sixth grade  will continue on distance learning as well as those Kinder and first grade in cohort C 100% distance learning. Don't forget to attend your class every single day and be  on time. Next week is Spring Break So there will be no school. Enjoy your break. We will return to school on Monday April 5th when are 2nd and 3rd graders will join us on campus. For those students returning, please make sure your parents fill out the parent- student compact. Have an awesome week tigers! It's time to recognize our tigers for their awesome accomplishments! Tigers just a reminder to follow your paws expectations everyday. Remember to problem-solve, always make good decisions, work together and show respect. Here is the tiger tip from Mrs. Madrid Hi Barfield Tigers Mrs. Madrid here. This week our tiger tip is having perserance and never giving up. Our tiger tip quote is,  "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." This week our SEL lessons focus on study skills and learning styles. Did you know that we all have a learning style? Check out this week activities under my Google Classroom to learn more about your learning style and could also learn about study skills. Check it out and have a great week tigers. Let's hear from one of our Tigers about college and career-readiness. Hello Barfield Tigers my name is Marilyn from Piccirillo's class. This week our career topic is careers in the Arts and entertainment industry. If you choose to work in this field, you can have such as a photographer or a music composer. You can also be an actor, director or a video game designer. Check out Mrs. Madrid's Google Classroom under this week's activities to see our interactive Google slide about careers the Arts and Entertainment have a great week Tigers. Hello tigers this week we have a love yourself challenge. What is something you like to do when you need a break.
